"T is for… The Traveller" (poem)

The traveller stood and stared
At the junction of the road.
One path was less travelled –
Was that the way to go?

It was covered with thick brambles,
Dark and dimly lit.
Try as he might, he couldn’t
See that far along it.

The traveller stood and stared
At the junction of the track.
Then skipped along the travelled path.
And never looked back.

    1. Thanks Sabina. In truth, it’s something we all do a thousand times every day, and yet still cling to this view that there is something about the less travelled path! 🙂
