Inside My Memory Palace (poem)

A different type of writing prompt here – .
Write any type of poem including the following 5 words: inside – memory – problem – grand – loft

Inside my memory palace
There’s a problem locked away
In a dark and dusty loft
Where only mice now play

To grand egregious errors
The follies of our youth
Staying locked away
The long and hidden truth

  1. Scary. Brilliant. Perfect. An amazing poem. There is a deeper story inside your words. You used one of my favorite Julie Andrews words: ‘egregious.’ She used when she declined her Tony Nomination for Best Actress in Victor/Victoria. I like this writing prompt. After I wrote my response, it will be posting on Wednesday, I thought seriously as making this a regular prompt. No fireworks, just the opportunity to do word puzzles into poetry. Seeing your response makes me feel even more strongly about continuing this Writing Prompt. Will give it a try next week. I enjoyed writing for it myself. Words are strictly chosen randomly. Maybe will see you next week. Hope to. πŸ˜€

  2. I decided to post the LINK to the poem your contributed to the Writing Prompt #2 at the following LINK: It is the poem I contributed to the Writing Prompt. I think this is a good way of doing it unless I figure out something better. Take a look. Hope you like it. If I find a more perfect way to present all who contribute, I will create it and Post it possibly on Sundays. We will see. jk-tsk πŸ˜€
