    1. There’s a great line in a John Hegley poem:

      I believe that rules are there to suggest the possibility of breaking them,
      but I don’t believe that rules are made to be broken
      because that’s another rule

      I have the same feeling about resolutions πŸ™‚

  1. I was born a socialist and Collingwood supporter Al. The first one you will be familiar with the second one needs www searching if you need new knowledge, Collingwood Football Club, both lean to resolving never to make resolutions!! And I like the sound of John Hegley, a socialist perhaps?

  3. Well he has been to Melbourne Al, I am pretty sure he is the John Hegley who did stuff at our world renowned Melbourne Comedy Festival back a bit, now that is another good reason to include Melbourne in a visit to Australia.(most comedians are devout socialists I believe)
