Haiku – "Tea Cosy"

TJ’s weekly challenge is “tea cosy” this week… not an obvious source for poetry (depending on how strongly you feel about your cuppa, I guess!), but this is where I’ve taken it:

Memory is cruel :
Household items needle us
With what time has claimed

    1. I can take a cup, if the situation demands… but I just don’t “get” those who drink tea at hourly intervals, or think it has some healing properties… am I missing something??

      1. Actually, there are many healing properties in many teas and while I do not drink them exclusively for that reason, I do allow the decision of what I consume to be influenced by what good it can do for my body. Cheers!

    1. We have several, and pots to use them with. My mother’s father was from England and we grew up with many of his Mother’s traditions.
