        1. I like the idea, and some accents work beautifully with poetry… not sure mine does. (But does anyone like their own voice when they hear it back on an answerphone??) If I can work out “how”, I’ll no doubt give it a go at some point though!

          1. In my ‘actual’ poetry groups it has been said that they can ‘understand’ my poetry when I read it out, far more than when they just read it upon the page. It comes to life. Plus it has my ‘voice’ along with the ‘voice’ of the poetry that I wrote. It gives it a 3D effect. G:)

  1. Feel free to share it with the kiddos… “Remember, your Auntie Annette always says…” Nothing like raising ’em right, eh?

    1. Absolutely… especially when some friendships die a natural death, others are prolonged only by heroic measures on one side, and others would have been better left to pass… not to mention that we are not always as good a friend as we would like to think of ourselves… a great challenge indeed!

          1. She could easily take over running North Korea, one person not to befriend. I would even consider having lunch with Putin before sitting down to a table with her. I am still working on the ultimate haiku to farewell her from my memory but cannot find the kanji to fit.

            1. I have a couple of close family members that I have similar feelings about… I may write about them, but I’d never share it on here. There’s that difficult balance between venting your feelings, and hanging onto painful associations…
